Croagh Patrick Heritage Trail & Holy Mountain
The trail extends from the town of Balla in central Mayo to the village of Murrisk at the base of Mayo’s holy mountain, Croagh Patrick. The trail included outstanding heritage sites and features Ireland’s natural beauty perfectly. You can expect to be welcomed with deciduous woodland & raised bog along the trail. You will visit the Holy Mountain along the way which is a famous spot for pilgrims to visit & pray where every July visitors flock to climb the mountain, some of which do so in their bare feet.

The Great Western Greenway
A 18km traffic free route spanning from Newport to Mulranny is one of the longest off-road walking trails throughout Ireland. If its cycling that you’re after, this is the perfect, as you can rent bicycles from the Greenway Bicycle Hire for as little as €20.00 for adults & €15.00 for kids. It is the perfect family day out where you will get to see some truly magnificent sights along the trail.
