Experienced anglers and fishermen arrive from all over mainland Europe and Britain to experience fishing on one of Europe’s top salmon rivers. If you’ve come to Mayo to take advantage of one of Ireland’s premium angling locations – we can help. Using our local knowledge, we’ll come up with the right plan for you.
For experienced anglers, we can offer help and assistance on getting you the right licences and permits and inform you of local fishing spots. We also organise packed lunches for the next day’s fishing and thanks to our location, right on the Ridgepool, access is easy and hassle-free. It’s likely you’ll be bringing your own gear but equipment is available to rent if required.
If you’re on a fishing package, why not take in a day’s deep sea fishing, looking for mackerel and cod or a morning out on the lake searching for pike or trout. For every day of your fishing break, we can organise a gillie who will tell you the best locations and advise on local fishing in general.
